While i was at Comptech yesterday they showed me SCs in their RSX and TSX. The TSX also had a very cool carbon fiber engine cover that said Supercharged by Comptech, looked great !! They said that they hope to get 210-220 WHP for both which is 50-60 more than the stock 160, that's awesome if you ask me.

They also said they would be working on a piggy back ECU for the CLS once they are done with the TL development.

No STB for the new TL, Shad said the stock bar was excellent FYI.

 

 

I don't know how Comptech's SC for the RSX/TSX can compete with the several Turbo kits out there making 260-300whp (Hondata powered of course)!

 

so here's a better question: when are they going to be coming out with a turbo kit for second gen TL's/CL's that doesnt' cost 5K?

 

by the way, beautiful setup allmotor. I have to say that i am truly envious!

 

Sure... one that makes the same power as their S/C - no way you will make 100whp MORE than the Comptech S/C reliably without the added cost.

wait a sec, where did this news come from? why the heck did i get the unichip then? any dates?

 

To be fair, they were supposed to be working on one when i initially bought my SC a year and a half ago, so i wouldn't bet the farm here. The difference this time is this may be an off shoot of working on the new TL SC and they may just configure it top work on ours, i'm hopeful.

 

I wonder if they are usign the same MP62 unit?? If so, those guys would not be limited like we are now.

 

For the money they charged they should've offered MP90 instead
