Do you know you can easily control the sensitivity with a screw driver? It can be sensitive to go off when a truck passes by. Of course, I talk about dual-stage since I have no experience with single stage.

dual stage just means it gives a warn-away tone to a light impact, it will require a heavier impact to go full siren. a single stage is less reliable because it will go off once the only impact setting is reached

Get a dual stage...with a beeper call. You don't want it extra-sensitive because when the wind blows hard enough..it'll go off. A cat runs under the car..it'll set it off. After awhile, you know what happens to a car who's alarm keeps going off!?! It gets egged, kicked....or any other number of things.
