Money spent on aftermarket parts

After spending $3000 at tire rack for rims and tires, I decided to add up all my receipts for all my mods that I currently have. So far I'm up to almost $9000. Then I added up all the parts that I still need to buy, which is about another..... well you don't want to know. What I would like to know is how much money other people have spent on their cars.

audio/video/security: $12,000 USD (before taxes...14.5% in BC, eh).

Koni Yellow Shocks: more $$$

Comptech mods(including S/C): even more $$$

Only things left to buy are rims/tires and brakes...maybe the CT b-pipe(big maybe though).

~ $1,700 for the following, including installation...

Make it ~ $2,000, including the remote starter I had done just after I brought the car home.

Hell...I'll just show my signature.

$10 for Acura-cl.com stickers. About $50 or so for all weather floor mats.

The money I would be spending on modding is going into the bank, so I can buy more car (quicker, more options, etc) next time. Gotta save up to be ready to buy an Acura TLS AWD coupe when it comes out

Thats what Jens said after my last visit to PAA.

However with installation that's as much as all the previous mods combined. That money would be put to better use going towards a new M3.

No labor, fabrication, tuning, servicing. One thing about modifying a car is that you're bound to incurr additional costs above and beyond owning a stock automobile.
