Friday night, I was driving down route 309, when i ran into a friend of mine, in his newly modded WRX. I am a stock 6-speed, he has a turbo back exhaust, boost controller, and some other things. I had two passengers in my car (220,170 lbs), he was by himself. Basically, we started at ~45 till I am not sure what, and he had me by a good car and half (perhaps more). I knew I didn't have a chance, but I wanted to see how fast his car was, and I have to say that thing is sick. One thing I might have done wrong is that I stayed in third, I really haven't raced that much.

 

Nice race. If you didn't have passengers you would have pulled on that WRX from a roll.

 

take off ~400 lbs, start in 2nd, and you'v got yourself a closer race. Good death though.

 

Yeah I figured not starting in 2nd hurt me, plus the fact that I am 210 lbs and the total passenger weight in my car was 380 lbs. The guy in the WRX is getting a bigger turbo, so next time he will probably be flat out faster than me.
