CL-S vs. CL-P
CL-S vs. CL-P
To me, it seems reading thru these boards, that 99% of people on here have a CL-S.
Am I the only one who has a CL-P, or do the CL-P people just not post much?
Lets take a count with the poll. I'm curious.

Since most people on this board are automobile enthusiasts, it would make sense that they would go with the sportier model. I chose the CL-P because the direction I was going with the CL didn't include performance..but I'm definately the minority here.

I got a P for two reasons:
1. Cost, about 1500-2000 less than the S around here.
2. Insurance, my ins comany wanted about $250+ more per year for the CL-S. I already pay $3,000/yr. Thats bad enough.
The car already has the OEM spoiler, so I kinda look like the S, all I need is the wheels and 40HP
lol

I had a CL-S I figured it was pointless to get a CL unless it was an S. I mean it doesn't have good handling so I alteast wanted a good engine. Plus if I didn't care for performance I would of got a TL and have a more accessable back seat. But the CL-P is good for daily driving the suspension is softer, big plus with all these pot holes.
if your not in too all the fast driving and what not its better to get the cl-p for the smoother ride and save some money
but what i dont understand is people w/ cl-p' and they change the suspension add intake headers etc etc, shoulda just got the S in the first place

Also saves the Insurance hit.
It is my daily driver, and I don't mind the softer suspension (for now) the potholes around here suck so its good.
I will be upgrading as time goes on though I am sure.
Honestly, the CL-P is plenty fast for me and still turns heads

Looks like you are almost the only CL-P owner here..
i had to save 2000 dollars for rims and stuff.
