Mirror Not Angling Down!

I just noticed that my right side outside mirror isn't angling down when I'm in reverse. My guess is that the dealer probably won't try to fix it because it's under warranty...they'll just install a new one and bill it to Acura.

make sure your mirror selector is in the center position or the mirror won't tilt in reverse...

Pappy,
I wanna throw out a dumb question first before Scooter gives
you his thoughts about the same problem he had with
his.

Did you set the mirror adjustment switch
to the "center" position?

So Pappy, was it because the switch wasn't set to the center?

Hahaha...similar thing happened to me at the dealer...kept pushing my memory seat button but it only went to the memory position if I held it down. This was after I picked up my car and I was at the dealer. I asked them about it and they didn't know so he wrote it up and said he'll look into it and fix it when I bring my car in next time to have the armrest replaced (leather was raised or something). Anyways, I later found out at a stop light that the parking brake needed to be on for the 1 touch to work...if parking brake was not on, you have to hold it down to get into the right position. (for the 6-speed).

Duh! Am I stupid or what? Yeah, that was it! Thanks for fixing the problem. The mirror selector has to be in the middle or the mirror won't angle down automatically. Damn you guys are good!

if it makes you feel any better i pressed the window lock button (accidentally) and went to the dealer to tell WTF? ...my passenger side window stopped stopped working. Luckily, that is not how i said it to him (which a normally do). He showed me my error and I looked like a stupidass instead of an asshole

My sisters' TL mirror does not tilt down wherever the switch is, so it can happen. Will let you people know what went wrong when I find out.
