I was wondering if it is possible to add turning signals to our side mirrors or replace em with ones that have it. Also, replacing the rear view mirror with a one that has a digital compass built in. These little features are standard in a lot of new cars today. So I'm assuming it shouldn't be too hard? I searched around for parts and found nothing. However I did come across a couple universal rear view mirrors, just not too sure if an extra wire or plug is needed for the compass.

 

You can purchase a universal rear-view mirror with the day/night sensor, and compass module. I installed on in my wifes' Accord last year. It's an easy install.

Regarding turn signal mirrors. Look into Muth Mirrors (www.kwmuth.com). They might have an item on their website to help your search.

 

For the mirrors nothing is made for a CL. The closets your going to get with that is having the signal in the mirror glass like on some SUV's.
This has come up a few times in the past.

I just did a quick search on ebay and few GENTEX mirrors came up - priced at $179.00. Tempting upgrade.

id say if youre going to do any kind of side signal go with fender side markers. hell i think the mirror signals are kinda gross. unless they are the amber color. ...

 

The rear-view mirror we have is a bit different, but from the same vendor.

 

definately a tempting upgrade, but i'm not digging the shape of the mirror. i think our CL mirrors look bulkier and more elegant.

Yes no one makes those for a CLS. Sorry.

 

unfortunately we have no key hole in our trunk. When I had my Maxima I removed the key cylinder and replaced it with a camera. Worked nicely.
