Might be gettiing Alfa Werks Headers!

Anyone have any good information on these headers? Where to buy, around how much?

Better than OBX and Stone?

I think you'll be the first..... good luck

Personally I'd go OBX or used Comptech if you don't want to buy new....

No resonance is a big plus over the OBX headers.

If these turn out to hold up they'll be a steal over the Comptechs.

I just called the number and they have the non-type s ones but not the type s.

Are they different? I thought they're all the same.

http://www.speedstash.com/headers.html

i just ordered these last week and it should be here on thursday or friday. a dyno test is coming up sometime next week to let everyone on the board know what the gains are. today i did a baseline dyno and came out with 197hp and 175tq. these numbers are about right since the filter has about 50,000 miles on them and were dirty. the numbers are sae corrected and i'm hoping to gain a good 20hp with the alpha werks. i will post a new tread when the results are in and give the rest of the details.

Uhm there are no type S and non type S specific headers. all headers fit both models. there is only Automatic vs. 6speed models.

Hell if the Comptech Headers hold up anything like their springs, these might be a deal!?

I dont think there is any difference if you order AV6 headers for auto CLS. I wont know, however until the October when istallation will take place on CLS heads.

UPDATE:
Accord V6 headers will fit fine AUTO CLS
Comptech confirms it.

So go ahead hit ebay and $ave money by ordering AW AV6 headers for you all with AUTO tragic

Question? If AW Accord V6 headers fit CL-S slush-box, will any brand Accord V6 headers work w/ CL-S slush box?

Yep,

However, only Comptech and AW headers reported to fit fine. You will have fitment issues with OBX and TH (Top Headers) + resonance.

NOT TRUE!

Maybe you should rephrase your statement to say there are "LESS fitment issues reported (if any) with Comptech than OBX".

If you leave your statement the way it is, you are implying that ALL OBX headers have fitment issues, which is far from the truth. :cop:

Why's that hard to believe?

Not all OBX headers are bad...just like not ALL Comptech parts are good.

Amoomaniak please give us a review on how the Alpha Werks headers fit and perform on our auto CLs. I have an 01 and from the sounds of it the Alpha Werks could be the answer to prayers.

I will but it might take a while.

My car is totally stock right now except for the m5 lip spoiler

I just received the H&R springs and tokico shocks last week and I'm waiting for the Icebox from comptech.

I don't know if you know the member named Akuratek, but he's a mechanic who works for Acura. He said he'd do the springs, shocks and Icebox for really cheap and now I'm hoping he'll do the headers too. He's on vacation next week but he'll be back the week after and install everything for me.

I don't know if I'll be able to stand having all this stuff laying around my house for a week and a half when it should be on the car

Oh and I don't think you can get them at a store for that cheap.

The only other place I've seen sell them sells them for 475 + shipping.
