Cool Might get another CLS-6..

So after reminiscing a little on my old CLS-6, and combined with the fact that I need another daily driver now, I'm thinking of buying another one.

I found a mint red one / beige interior with 4K miles, and NAVI. Kind of on the expensive side, but if things work out, I'll be, for the 2nd time, a happy owner of a mint CLS-6.

These cars rock, and I'm thinking of buying & keeping this one forever as a daily driver.

Hope to have pics up soon for u guys!

Yes it is a US car that I'm looking to import.

Quick question -> will the NAVI on an American CLS work on Canadian roads as well?

I dont think it will, but im not sure if they dont make a Canadian replacement cd.

Those who know me know ive been in the market for a new car. Ive looked AT everything g35 to mx-5 to 350z to the s60R. Im starting to think that I either need to keep mine becasue absolutely NOTHING will replace it or look for a low mileage CL-S 6-spd. If I found a CL with 4000K miles, it would be mine.

I was thinking about importing a CL-S from the states too, but figured it would be too much hassle. I ended up buying one from Ontario, and it's getting shipped out here now. I can't wait!

Have you found out about the warranty on US cars in Canada. I contacted Mini Canada and they said up front that they will not warranty a US ca rin Canada.

Correct.

Honda/Acura dealers in Canada will only honor warranty claims on Candian vehicles. I believe the same applies for US dealers & cars.

So you still buying it without the warranty?

I was thinking of importing a mini cooper and then driving to Buffallo, NY for warranty work if needed since Its only an hour away from my house.

Still contemplating on the practicality of this approach.
