^ If that doesnt work, does hitting the memory buttons on the door panel work?

Ok that worked on the remote but did nothing to make the seats auto adjust or mirrors go down when you put it in reverse. Maybe I should of also said the memory button does nothing and the little lights next to 1or 2 don't light up but when you turn the lights on at night the background lighting on them does work. Could there be a blown fuse?

CL-S 6Speed is rarely in
Wait....theres illumination behind the memory panel? More bulbs I have to change out. Had this car almoust five years and they never lit up before! Only the little green led to tell you what memory position was selected lit up for me.
Put the mirriors and seat where you want them. Try pushing and holding the little red button with the key in the on position. The leds for both positions should flash together. Push and hold the number you want to save on until it beeps at you. Then, while the position is active and lit, do the key fob lock and unlock button combo. That should save the fob to that position.
I have my fob set to position 1 which puts the seat all the way back so I can get in without rubbing the bolster. After I get in I push position 2 and its adjusts to where I like to drive. Before I get out I push 1. Fortunatly I am the only one who drives the CL being she cant drive stick so I can have both memory positions.

The memory positions arent set. Hold down the memory set button on the door panel, then hit the #1 or #2 preset button. You should hear two quick beeps, and the green light corresponding to the memory button you pressed is lit up.

And the mirror itself will only move if the mirror adjustment switch is in the neutral position.
But since your seats arent moving either and there are no green lights on the memory unit, that tells me its not set in the first place.

Ok just checked the number 9 fuse with a ohm meter and its good but what's odd is that it also has the backup lights on it too and they are not working either! What's going on?

I figured out why the memory seat wasnt working. About two weeks ago I had to change battery and I learned from the guys at the stealership that you have to reset the memory seat whenever the battery is disconnected. This is how I fixed my problem hope it works for you.... With the engine turned off and all doors closed, I pressed all three buttons ( memory 1,2&setting) while depressing all three buttons, turn the ignition to on (position II). Now release all three buttons. Whith the ignition still in the on II position, press all three buttons again for twenty seconds and release. The lights should flash and the green lights for position 1 and 2 will be lit. Everything is now ready to be programmed to your comfort.

Unbelievable!!!!! I took my car to the stealership to get the gage cluster glass cleaned and when I got the car back my memory seat wasn't working. Didn't realize it till I got home. I tried the reset I posted earlier but nothing is happening. It's not the fuse because everything else in the car works even the bak light on the memory buttons. Any ideas?????

Id create a much larger fuss. Talk to the Service Manager. Dont do it over the phone. Go in there, in front of other customers, and flip the fuck out.

It's kinda hard to do that because here in Connecticut they will quickly call the police. Do to the fact that I am a police officer I rather not up myself in the predicament.

What dealer is that? If anything, contact the owner (the internet is a big place) as well as Acura Corporate. Id leave a bad review for them on every website they are mentioned.
I understand where youre coming from, but you need to make a stand to them attempting to screw you over.

Yes the passenger and driver mirrors go down depending on wich one I select. Everything works except for the memory seat. The reason I took it to the stealership was to clean inside the gage cluster. There wet dust or some kind of dirty buildup forming behind the glass. Didn't want to mess with it because of all the complicated electronics in these vehicles.

When the lights blink u should press memo then then the number corresponding to your key weather its 1 or 2. Theses are RL fixes but i assume they may be very similar.

Talked to a Acura tec at the dealership, he said I should try disconnecting the battery and touching the leads together to reset the ecu and system.
#32
If you touch the leads together are you not risking the possibility of blowing the fuses? And I assume you will have to reset all of your electronics ie.. Hf link, radio , nav...... Definantly let us know if it works out.

Yea, dont touch the two leads together. That doesnt reset the ECU.
Disconnecting the battery or removing fuse #13 (15amp) from the passenger side fuse box will.
There is also the #11 fuse (7.5amp) that is the mem seat/overhead light circuit.
