Memories.........

Ole timer here......thought I share my recent purchase but mostly the memorable sound from my 2001 CL Type S........a 2007 Acura MDX "Sport" model with sport shift and Super Handling AWD and 300 ponies coupled with VTEC and Active Damper System...........I've not opened her up just yet as I'm breaking her in, but the one I test drove had that memorable "growl" from my CL days.......can't wait to WOT !

Grew up with manuals......Auto's were for RICH/OLD folks who drove Cads.......My last manual was a new 1991 Honda Civic SI. Traded it for a 1998 Honda Accord Coupe V6-EX where the das original name "FABVSIX" originated....

CL Platano:
I understand that the 05 & 06's are in high demand due to the price increase of the new MDX....We complained the MDX was NOT in the Lux class but "near lux" so they listened, redesigned it, brought it up to par with MB, BMW etc... and now we complain its too expensive! What gives?
Wait 6-8 months till the hype goes down and I think you will see the "basic" MDX price come down from MSRP. I got the LOADED SPORT BEAST at MSRP NAKED ($48,XXX.XX). All I can say its amazing so far.......

Just this past Saturday I was sitting at the red light, besides me were two young guys drooling over my MDX. So I reached over and put her in sport mode as I knew they wanted to see if I bite, light turned green and woof.........stopped at the next light with them rolling up with HUGE grins on their faces as well as mine because I didn't even do WOT. I rolled down the window and said to them "don't under estimate the new MDX's power"........they were speachless.........RARE that I did that too !

We don't allow attachments here, so you have to host your photos somewhere else...

I'm gonna close this since it's not about a 2G CL... Feel free to talk about The MDX over in Cartalk tho':
