me vs 330ci

we were drinking at a hotel for some after party when the cops came, so we boned out. one of the guys had a 330 ci and he pulled up next to me a little way away from the hotel. i knew he wanted to race, so i floored it in normal d5, no ss. i pulled on him after 2 gear and i beat him by 2 car lengths or so. however his ci was automatic so im pretty sure thats why.

I hope I'm not on the road the next time you decide to drink and race.

What?!?!

Do you have an '01 CL-S? If so, then why is everyone making a big deal over racing a 330i? Wow, big deal. They are weak. I have never found any real competition until I race the 540i. I don't get it.

On paper it should be a competitive race if both cars are stock. However we should all know that mag times are worthless. Just a vague baseline.

All I am saying is that I haven't found real competition until I raced the 540i. I've raced a few 3 series BMW's, and they weren't much competition. That's all i'm saying.

I don't see a 330i mentioned in his story.

Nice kill. Good to see you didn't do this with a few drinks in you.

I hate to preach but I just read a local highschool student with four other passengers was speeding/drinking/no seat belt. One dead, one in critical conditon (brain dead at this point) and three others pretty banged up. Being a parent, I can't immagine how the parents are dealing with this.

Back to your kill... now I want be intimidated next to 330ci's in the next lane. I would have figured they would have given a better run though. With a 6sp cl-s, I should have no problem (unless I miss a gear )

i agree...drinking and driving is one of the stupidest things you can do...i honestly have cut back down on the drinking considerably..and i can understand the parents' position on these kinda things...but anyway...i also thought i would've gotten a better race out of the 330..maybe he got a bad launch or something but from the looks of it *or from what i remember* i beat him pretty badly...but regardless, i beat a bmw haha

2001 AUTO VS 330CI AUTO. Not manual.

Those numbers are bullshit. I'll smoke any manual 330CI and I'm auto.
