Acura West in Ellicott City.

Also, Tischer in Laurel for service, but don't buy a car there.

Radley Acura in VA if you want a acura loaner but never let them wash your car. They washed mine out of courtesy (and i didn't ask them to, and it was bad ever since).

Tischer Acura in Laurel Md if you don't mind enterprise rentals, but they have good service.

Thats funny you say that.. I actually purchased my vehicle from them? Did you have a bad experience with them? (just curious).

Thanks for all the great feedback.. looks like there are quite a few DC area Cl owners out here...

They tried to play the usual games with me.

I always do a straight deal. I pay cash for the car (plus trade in, if I decide to trade instead of selling myself), and I know what I'm willing to pay for the car. I give them a fair offer for the car "on the street" (taxes, tags, etc.) and they should only be able to respond one way. Either yes we'll sell the car for that price or no, we won't, in which case I leave and go somewhere else.

They said "yes" but then tried to pull all kinds of stuff. I, of course, left.

I bought from Tischer. Went in with an 'on the road' price. They tried a few games (like all dealers), nothing big, had no problems, paid what I wanted. I think games are fun anyway. I basically paid 200 under invoice with spoiler and splash guards installed (plus taxes and stuff).

A friend went there for a new TL-S, got jerked around, they pushed the demo on her, ended up buying at Acura West.

Depends on who you deal with.

You can't beat Tischer's price. I got a quote for my friend on the TL-S, they beat Acura West by $1300. But, she had bought her car the day before.

For service, I've only been to Tischer. If you want an Acura loaner, make your appointment in advance, request an Acura, confirm it a week before. I didn't, ended up with a Sonoma, V6, 4wd. Not bad, kinda fun to drive.

Bought my '01 CLS at Rosenthal in G-burg after Acura West didn't want to bargain on the price. No complaints with Rosenthal thus far. In fact I just helped my gf's mom get an '03 TL-P for just over invoice there through my salesman.
I will be gettng my trans replaced shortly as it's really starting to scare me the way it shifts and flares, etc, so I will let you know how that goes.

I actually know the service manager there at Tischer Acura.. he was very interested in perhaps assisting the Acura's in the area that may purchase aftermarket parts in the future. Please feel free to PM me or e-mail me if you have any questions/interest.

He personally drives a supercharged 2001 GSR. So he is Aftermarket friendly.

Just wanted to throw that out there, since as a dealer you may feel a little more comfortable with installs, service, etc..

I take my car to Pohanka for all services and also bought my car from them. They've been great and I've never had any problems with them. If you need stuff installed there, ask for Jerry Soriano. He's the Service Advisor that basically handles all the performance part stuff over there.

I purchased my car at Radley and had problems with the quality of the factory options installed. I get mine serviced at Frankel ... used to take my '90 Legend Coupe there, and always had Jeff work on it. Jeff is now the dispatcher/shop foreman, and after not having anything to do with the dealership for nearly 3 years he recognized me right off and even remembered my name when I went to talk to him about service history/problems with the new model CL before I bought it. He insures that Bruce works on my car ... and the dealer is even Comptech friendly (although I haven't checked on prices for installs yet).

Radley did give me a new TL and CL (non Type-S) the 2 times I had to leave my car with them ... at least this is something in their favor. PLUS this was with full knowledge that I'd be driving the car up to/back from Pa. Can't argue with that!

I bought mine at Radley in Falls Church. It was the dealer the buying service I used was in business with. I got it for $2k less than what Pohanka was offering me, and it was a painless, good experience.

Service however is a different story. I took it there for the first oil change and they also washed the car even though I specifically told them not to. Luckily there were no swirls but they did a half assed job anyway. What's the point in washing it and leaving the glass dirty

I've taken my CL-S to Pohanka for service since. They may be a few bucks more expensive but they're stright to the point and quick. No "sir, at 10,000 miles you must get the parking brake inspection which is $80" that Radley was trying to sell.

After hearing alot about different situations with different dealers... I really must recommend Tischer Acura! Specifically the Service Manager there!

If I tell him to not have my car washed, he will make sure it doesn't get touched! One time it was about to get washed and was inline, and he ran outside to get the car before it went in.. . He has also helped out several of my Capital RSX members from the area with service issues and aftermarket parts/installs.

*I don't receive any comp for promoting the dealer. But I just thought I would pass along the recommendation to fellow Acura owners!

On a side note: The Coming Spring Season is right around the corner, and have already met some of the acura-cl.com crew in NJ. Perhaps some of you may be up to meeting up with CapitalRSX.com sometime real soon? For an Acura get together, in the DC Area?

I just had a good experience with Pohanka in Chantilly, VA this morning. Very professional ended up with basically all repairs covered under a recall I was unaware of.

I have Nitrous in the car, along with a disconnected Venom 400 and they never said a word about it.

I goto Chevy Chase Acura in Bethesda, where I got the car. I always have gotten an Acura loaner (RSX or TL), and I kinda know a service rep and tech. They seemed mod-friendly and would do some aftermarket installs. Only problem is that sometimes their service dept. is really busy. I usually make an appointment a few days ahead of time or sometimes I can go same day. And YES, they washed my car the first time when I asked them not too

Are you talking about lenny? The owner's son at tischer acura who drives the white and blue GSR. His car is pimp but he is still trying create relations with the dealership to warranty the parts. Last time we spoke he was trying to set up a performance shop. The GSR was promotional car for tischer until he got into a wreck and they made him pay for it thus...he owns the GSR that was already hooked up for him. Anyway if he gets the performance shop up and running that would be sweet!

thats exactly who I am talking about..!!! He is actually still working on the performance shop, however every member of capitalRSX, has stayed under warranty although anywhere else they would have been turned away (keep in consideration, that Tischer did most of there installs as well). So I would say that the relation between the dealer and keeping the car under warranty has vastly improved. His car is extremely pimp, and he actually showed his GSR and the Tischer RSX down at the Armory in September, with Capital RSX... Well, hit me up if you need anything service/parts, what ever! or you can call him your self, I am sure he can assist you with most anything.... Let him know David from Capital RSX sent you..

(His Tischer Integra GSR is in the background)
