Maximum tire width

Anyone ever run 235/40 -18 on their CL-S?
I'm looking to put new wheels and tires on mine and want to know the max width that will work without rubbing.
I'm looking at rims that are 18 x 7.5 with a 45 offset.
Thanks!!

If you jack it up on some coilovers and a high offset you could probably fit 295s.

Yeah but they're too small in 17". I'm working on getting a set in 18".

I'm running 245s and I am lowered more than springs. I didn't get any fender rubbing, just on the inner liner of the engine cover, gonna get it trimmed..
