I'm new to the area, but I want to get headers and Ice box installed. Got the parts already just need a reliable and affordable shop to do the work. Want to get my car dyno'd before and after as well. So one shop would be ideal I guess. Before I insall the Icebox I want to get it and the engine cover and battery cover painted. Got any suggestions? Appreciate the help thanks.

Vertex is pretty good. they are in the tysons area in VA. they've worked on about 10 cl/tl's from this forum and done all of my stuff.

headers,exhaust,spring,sways, i did the cai my self.

The only shop i know is the one in west minister, however since I live in frederick I always go to race redi although they are mostly mustang and camaro guys they are really good with custom applications. As soon as i can remember the name of shop in west minister I'll post it.

Thanks guys. I posted the same thread on the A-TL board and got no responses. Maybe because it was friday. But as I always say there's more knowledge and input on this board than the TL board.

 

take painted to a bodyshop, don't DIY. I always like having my paint work done right the first time. It sucks if it chips and you have to redo it all.

I'm sure you can pay someon on the board beer/pizza to help you install your stuff. It's more fun that way anyways.

If u dont' care about the drive go to Vertex Motorsports, they did all my stuff as well. 703-883-0403. I know the owner their and he's done all of my stuff for my CL. They did a real good job. Just ask for Mike, he's the service manager there.
