Manifold on backwards ?

I asume it's for because of turbo placement but.
Do they have a special spacer or have the runners reversed, egr block ?
It's not something I ever seen .

Looks like they somehow mounted the intake mani backwards. Make better use of the space above the tranny for that nasty ass turbo. Also makes sense for shorter intercooler piping.

Damn near everyone with J35 swaps in Civics are putting down ~250whp with intake, headers and exhaust. 7 psi on a J35 should be ~400whp. 313hp is pitiful. Those are B series numbers. Hell, an NA K20 can reach those numbers.

, pitiful #'s for that setup but its a crazy setup nonetheless. Maybe its a really conservative tune? I'm also sad that the car is riced as hell

I would think the engine so far to the passenger side would affect handling alot.

Has anyone else mounted their manifold this way? What did it take to do it if so?

Well I have tinkered with this now and in case anyone else is looking for this answer. The manifold can be flipped along with the runners without much work. You will need to block off the EGR port and I assume you will not have the space for the power steering pump but i dont know that for sure. Just swap and flip runners, block egr, and flip the manifold around, simple as that. I hope this is all accurate it has been a minute since i messed with this.

you guys may not be realizing that its probably running a smaller turbo than we can. Eg's dont have super roomy engine bays.

it also looks like the manifold isnt backwards, they blocked off the throttle body opening on the driver side and made a new one on the passenger side.

The turbo appears to be rather large, and Im pretty sure the manifold is on backwards since the PCV hose barb is on the front plenum and not the rear.

It is easy to flip; therefore, I doubt they would go through all of the trouble to add a new TB on the opposite side. Nor does it look like they did that.

Someone should cut the manifold in half and weld another one cut in half so the tbs are facing opposite direction to have 2 tbs.
