Makeshift Anti-Fog Headlight tool
A lot of people, including myself, on the 2nd Gen CL Forum have had issues with the fogging of the headlights. Lately mine have gotten REALLY bad and what's worse is that I wash the CL 1-3 times per week so it never gets time to dry. It's gotten so bad that it's more like a cold sweaty glass in summer time humidity. My solution you ask? My "Makeshift Headlight Tool"! I thought someone else here could benefit from this so I figured I'd share my experience.
First, take one old useless wire coat hanger: snip the hook end completely off and toss it. Then bend the other piece straight. At this point, take one end and cover it with tape (I used electrical for it's extreme stickieness and it's softness). This will keep the end of your "tool" from scratching anything inside the housing (DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!). Next, take a small piece of paper towel (something soft) and completely cover the end of the hanger with the tape on it. Cover it with the towel thick enough to "absorb" moisture, not spread it.
Now remove the high-beam bulb (Make sure you don't touch the bulb, clean it off if you do!). Insert "Makeshift Headlight Tool" thru bulb hole. At this point, you may want to trim the end off the tool for ease of use in the tight work space. I did. Now you can soak up all the moisture inside that headlight housing with ease. Bend your tool as needed.
Once dry on the inside, I left the bulb out over the following night and put it in the next day. No more fogging and condensation!
Now, I take my high-beam bulb out every time I wash the car. I leave it out till everything dries. The headlight hasn't fogged up since!
I hope this helps some of you guys!

lol, glad I don't have a problem with that on my first gen. I just noticed you have almost as much mileage as my car :P.
btw. I finally got my car up and working again, and got the 20% tint done. I went with someone else, and I'm really happy with the job done. It was $60 more than what you paid though... oh well.

it looks sweet. I got one pic of it in the first gen pics section. It does still have a little bit of white on the dot matrix, but he said to bring it back in about a week and he would touch that up. He didn't go to the very top of the door windows, but that doesn't really matter to me because my window are either all teh way up, or all the way down.

I want you guys to know that for the past few weeks since this thread I have not had to remove the highbeam bulb to reduce condendsation. For some reason, once I got it completely dried out inside, it hasn't foged up since I did this.
