ok so the previous owner of my car followed closely behind trucks....frequently. so when I bought the car I had to touch up a ton of little knics on the hood. no prob.

but the foglights. one had a rock go through it, causing it fill with water and actually grow algea, the other is cracked and fogged.

so I removed the algea one today to take a look. its pretty bad . Is there anyway I can remove the lens cover, so I can clean out the inside? is it like a twist off? can I pry it off carefully? any ideas appreciated.

id like to at least TRY to get these working. replacements that fit are expensiveee.


i was kinda able to clean it with a lil' vodka. didnt have any rubbing alcohol.....

best way to remove the lens cover i would say is to put it in your oven to release the seal
