My Maintenance Required light has just come on at 24,500 miles. I looked in the owners manual and did a search on the forums, and I haven't seen where the light is supposed to come on at this interval. Should I take it to the dealer to get checked out? I should also note that my Headers were installed recently....I don't know if they would cause this to happend though...and all fluids and oil are at the normal levels.

 

Yeah there is service scheduled at 22.5k miles. I had the same thing happen. No worries If you want the service then go for it, if you don't do a search on how to get rid of the light.

I had that problem and was told that the light comes on when to much "pollution" coming out of the tailpipe. A reason that your light may have came on is becaues you had some work done to your engine, I just had it reset. The light shouldn't read matinence required, it should read somethig else. I think it scares people when it comes on.
