Maintenance Req light is on at 17k?

Maintenance Req light is on at 17k?

I dont get this, its starting to blink on start at 16,900 which is where I am right now. However, it did not blink at 15k, whats up with that? What maintenance is required at 17k?

Yeah, i can reset it but de hell is turning on at 17k of all things. Weird

The maintainance light is not keyed to total milage on your car. It counts (mileage) from the last time it was reset.
