maintenance light

For the past month or so, my maintenance light would blink for about 10 seconds when I turned on my car. I was told i don't really have to worry about it then, it's just saying maintenance time is going to come soon. But today the maintenance light decided to stay on, and my mileage reading is 43,690. I checked the Maintenance Schedule PDF file (i found it somewhere on this site like half a year ago) and the closest service I see is the 45k one. So is the light blinking for the 45k maintenance service? Do I wait till 45k before going to the dealership, or do I go now? My car is a 03 CL Type-S 5AT

Just reset it. It's set to go off every 7500 miles.
