Thank you for the welcome. I am aware of the search option and will attempt to make sure I use it in the future. But here is a novel idea.... It probably would have taken you the same amount of time to type a response to the initial question.

OH and when everyone decides to flame me for my response.... :P

 

Here's another novel idea...If you were aware of the search option, why didn't you use it in the first place? It would have taken you the same amount of time to search as it took you to post a new thread. I was just trying to be nice to a newbie, but since you want to be a smart ass...

 

Hold down the RESET and SELECT buttons (used for the trip odometer) and turn the ignition key to ON (do not start the car). Wait about 10 secs and the maint light will flash then go off.

 

The search would have gotten you the answer several times, the Extremely Useful Topic forum would have helped too... but I have one more novel idea..... read the fuckin manual
