Whats your milage???????? It blinks for your 7500 mile service.........then every 7500 miles after that. You can turn it off if you want, Turn your key to the "on postion", then press and hole the reset button and the button below it. Keep holding the buttons and turn the car off........wait 5 seconds thhen start the car......keep holding the buttons(about another 5 sec) until the light stops flashing. Its not as difficult as it sounds.

Word of caution: make sure you press and hold down the reset and select buttons *before* turning the ignition on. If you turn the ignition on first and then hold down the buttons, you'll enter the coarse adjustment mode for the outside temperature probe. To reset the maintenence light, hold the buttons down first, then turn the igintion on until the blinking stops (approx 10 seconds). You don't have to start the car--just put the key to the "II" position.
