Maint. Req...

I got my intake installed almost a week ago, now the maint req. light blinks when i turn on the car. It doesnt stay on all the time though. Does that mean something is wrong or does our car always do that. I got my oil changed and my car serviced a couple days before i got the intake so any ideas?? Let me know ASAP. Thanks!

What’s your mileage?
I believe it starts to “remind” you 1,500 miles before the next scheduled service interval.
A bit too soon for me, thank you.

For instance, at 6,000 it starts to flash you for the 7,500 service.
You need to do the trick with the trip computer to reset it early.

this has nothing to do with your install, it comes on by mileage it will start to blink somewhere around every 6000 and then will eventually stay solid

It's been over 6K miles since the system was reset, when it gets to 7.5K the maint. light will stay on. Time for service reminder..

Correct, it probably started to flash at 13,500 miles.
