I have a 99 TL 3.2 and it recently had its 60K service (prior to light coming on). Now, at 63K, the scheduled maint. light came on. I checked the code and it read P1676 Manufacturer Control Aux. Inputs.

Am I correct to think that this light is just telling me that I need the 60K service and the trouble code is one-in-the-same? I cleared the maint. light and it has not come back on.

Any thoughts?

Which light is on, the Scheduled Maint or the Check Engine? AFAIK, the Sched Maint light does not set a code. The instructions for resetting it are in your Owner's Manual and it's been posted here many times.
