Magnaflow Cat and Resonator... opinions?
I know there are threads out there, but this is somethin different...
my current setup: comptech headers, stock cat, comptech bpipe, stock 03 mufflers
plans: magnaflow 5400 cat obd2 compliant w/ o2 sensor and cut out resonator in comptech b-pipe and install magnaflow muffler 4"x9" - 14" body length, 20" overall length
cat: http://www.car-sound.com/catalog/universal/540.aspx
muffler: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=413
realize when i say muffler, i dont mean its going on as my mufflers, i mean its going to be welded into the exhaust as a 'resonator', i figure this setup will be ideal for optimal flow with low sound and minimal loss in backpressure
i would go 3.5" x 7" oval but i'm pretty sure the ct header and b-pipe diameter is 2.25, can anyone confirm these? i guess i'll call up comptech to make sure.
