Maaco paintjobs anygood??
My parents used Maaco to do their car a while back (5 years?) and I can say that the paint did peel after about 1.5 years, and it looked okay at best when they first got it done. But it was cheap, and it was fast.
the paint in no way sucks, I got my car painted their about 2 years ago and it still looks great. I got the best paint job which comes with a 4year warranty against fading, peeling, etc. I was my car every 2 weeks, and have never waxed it. And the paint still shines like the first day I got it back. For $400 this is definately a good paint job. I got mine painted in Hollywood, FL.
I had my 92 Accord painted by Earl Scheib for like $400 with a full metallic charcoal paint (w/ clear coat). The results were decent. It was surely better than the massive chipped and faded paint from prior. This was about 3 years ago, and the paint is still holding up despite some chips.

it depends...i think it is only good to old cars...as maaco does paint over on your exisiting paint...the result will make the new paint look thicker...but it is cheap lol...i will not recommend on your cls..
its for an older car (95)
the paint is peeling off it and it looks like its getting bigger and bigger , but i will be selling the car by next year and i just wanted to get its value up.

lets put it this way...the car has black paint and the whole roof is turning into a dark greyish color.....i even used regular black spray paint on it to cover it up.....i'm guessing it cant get much worst for the car

If you want it down right..then do it yourself....go remove all your old paint....scrape off all rust....primer it a couple of times...and then bring it to Maaco or Earl Schieb....simple.
If it's a beater your planning on just painting and selling and your on a budget then Maaco will work. but I've talked with a couple guys and saw their cars they even said the paintjob stinks. just I wouldn't tell the buyer who painted it.
the good/bad part is it's fast(the good part to that is it isn't in the service bay forever but on the flip side sometimes they "cut corners" to shave off time and in turn it looks like a retard painted your car
