M5 Lip Spoiler Install "Help"

Can anyone tell me how to install the lip spoiler?

Do you have to bend it around the contour of the trunk to get the right look?

Help please....

i eyeballed it...but i recommend that you tape the trunk on the sides so u can get an accurate distance from both sides of the trunk...before installation clean the area real well with rubbing alcohol...definitely have a friend or two help you so u dont have to look back and forth...and make sure the spoiler runs smooth against the back side and doesnt hang off the back...when the tape touches the paint its sticky as hell soo try your hardest not to mess up that much because getting it back off is hard as crap. let me know if u need more help.. it looks badass! ull be glad!

So you do have to bend the spoiler a bit to go around the contour of the trunk lid?

Does anyone have pics of the M5 spoiler already installed on a CL-S?

If so, please post some.

You're right, I didn't really want a spoiler... but I had to do something about the sloping trunk line.. The M5 spoiler did the trick. IMO.

you cant even see it from far away.....

It also doesn’t sit all away on edge...you have to place it further up cause ends would stick out...

You must not be installing it correctly. It fits perfect. My friends at the shop who installed it thought it was made for our cars.

CLS is right. It matches up perfectly. I just go mine painted today and I'm going to install it tomorrow.

I have another one for sale for $45 if anyone wants it.

One other thing...

Does the tape stick real well even though you have to slightly bend it around the contour of the trunk?

The spoiler should come with double sided 3M tape already installed on the spoiler. You just have to peel the plastic tape off the 3M strips and install.
