This is just hilarious, I have both cars. My CL-S is my DD and the M a weekend car. There is just no way the CL-S (non turbo'd or SC'd) gonna come anywhere close to beating the M. But yeah, it's nice to dream lol.

 

I bet he was just staying out of VTEC bro. Once that kicks in, it'd be all over. The 1/4 mile times of the CL-S don't fully show it's amazing capabilities. Horsepower, 0-60mph and 1/4 mile times don't gauge how fast a car is.

The m3 has air suspension and I had it all the way up. 4 inch lift.

The CL was probably running too low of psi in the front tires. It would have given him hell if it was 32psi all around like the user manual suggests. He also probably forgot to fold his mirrors in and take his morning shit-n-the-toilet for better front end weight distribution.
