well, this happened a few weeks ago coming from a night car meet. I was in the 134fwy travelling in a normal speed, when all of a sudden a blueish headlight came by and tailgated me. i thought he's going to hit me, i'm on the fast lane doing 70. on my left is carpool lane, there's a car on my right, so, why should i moved, right? so what he did, he went around me and cutoff the car on my right and then me ! I knew he would do that, 'reason why i down shifted to 3rd gear. as soon as he cut me off, it was on! i was on his back bumper the whole time upto 130mph and am sure i can able to pass him cause i was not flooring it, i was just waiting for the other cars to clear, then we caught a traffic. He avoided the traffic by going to the carpool lane thru a double solid line he chickened out.

M3 was, maybe, late 2000 model similar to this one
but probably stock.

what are the spec on this cars?

 

BMW M3's i believe have somethin like 333HP and 260 lbs-tq

indeed he is. he cut off the old timer beside me.i wasn't too sure at first if he knew i was ready for him when he cut me off, but i saw his car jerked maybe a sign of downshifting i dunno. it was a little cold that night, i guess the charger is lovin the cold weather, the charger feel really different on a hot day.

 

i bet he shit himself and committed suicide lol and sweet i didnt know you were 6 speed

 

mind you that in SoCal the fast lane is for cruising 75+mph. so that can be part of the reason for his driving manners.

The speed limit is the same in every lane.

fixed. slow driving is for the right lanes.

 

maybe on some fwy they have 70mph limit, but not on that area. the fwy i was on just merged into another fwy he came from the other side of the fwy. the guy didn't even gave me a chance to merge to a slower traffic. i changed gear so that i can pass the car beside me and give him way, but instead he went cutting us off. i thought "hey i'm on 3rd gear why not?" he's being a dick anyway and wanted to play, might as well play too, specially i saw an M3 badge . i know what i did was also wrong but he almost hit me.

still don't have 1/4 times. Doing a little of work here and there. but when this heat wave calmed down a little maybe i'll run...

 

Just courtosy to move out of the left lane if you're going 70. It's easy to juge but it's sounds to me like you were purposly holding him off which explains his reaction.

 

meh.. the bimmer guy sounds like he would probably not have offered the same courtesies given a role reversal.

lol. but 2 wrongs can't make 1 right, but the guy deserve to be treated that way he just have no regards to other people, specially the old guy beside me. he cut the old guy, man...
