Ok so I've been getting mixed reviews on the Lucas stop slip some saying it might damage the transmission or help improve it. I'm getting hard shifts most of the time andsome 3rd-4th slippage. Being a student I don't have the money for a new trmanission or a rebuilt one lol. So has anyone out there actually used Lucas Stop Slip on thier CL and what was the outcome?

 

Nope. Just delaying the inevitable.

 

how nasty is the fluid? if it is really nasty changing it or adding an additive to it may cause it fail completely.. if the fluid has been changed regularly, then most likely nothing will happen in terms of trans operation

 

Changed the fluid about 3 months ago, idk what to say about this car sometimes it's an amazing car to drive and other times it's a nightmare hahahha
