Which lowering kit should I use.
I just mounted a set of 18x7.5 racing hart cp-8, with a +42 offset. I went with 225-40-18 nitto 555's. My car looks like a 4x4 truck. I was wondering wich lowering springs you would recommend? I want to keep a factory feel with a much lower look. Should I buy a camber kit also?
thanks, 03cl-s

Is his offset any problem to use CT springs.
Cause i myslef have
17 x 7 rims
42 offset
225/45/17 tires
Everyone i talk to says something different.
My biggest problem is that I am afaid that
I will be rubbing the inner parts and that i
will have to roll my fenders, and that is something
I really do not want to deal with.

I agree on the Compechs, they make the car look better with my 18x7.5s and 225-40-18s, but i have no problem with speed bumps or driveways. I definitely recommend doing the Koni yellows at the same time. It will save you on duplicate labor and they are awesome.

Big problem w/ his parameters and using CT springs-he will not keep "factory feel" if he uses them. The ride gets stiffer but it's well worth it!

Hmmm...let's think logically! In my opinion, when ever you change the standard, you should expect some problem. Let's face it, the car is engineered to ride on the current standard springs, shocks and tires/size. If you change those standards of engineering, you should expect to make changes with relating supporting parts. Some people are lucky and have no problems depending on what they change. But, I think you have to also expect a change in the ride and handling of the vehicle. The changes made now through may be evident later on, but not show in the beginning.
