it seems like all of a sudden im losing about 50 miles per tank, im not pushing the car any harder or anything. Only mod is intake. Anyone got an idea what may be going on?

How does your idle feel? Their was an old post wherethis guy got poor gas mialeage and it had something to do with the air sensor or something like that.

 

nope only 2500 miles sicne last oil change, idle seems alrite. I dont know what the deal is, maybe i should bring it into acura and ask, but they will prob give me shit for having an intake.

 

what is the gas mileage supposed to be for a cl and the cls i'm just curious cause i get about 20 mpg and i do a decent amount of highway driving, but then againi get the urge to floor it alot.

first thing I'd check would be you install! immediately after haveing the ICEBOX installed, my highway mileage went up a mile or two per gallon ... but it also seems that as soon as I went from the stock 215/50/17's to the 235/45/17's, my mileage dropped back to where it normally was, which is still over 29mpg on the highway (virtually all highway miles). however, the tires were mounted about the time summer finally arrived so my drop could be due to the higher temp's and once fall returns my mileage will go up again?

 

how many miles are on it.... Maybe there might be build up in the engine.... Put a bottle of Fuel Injection Cleaner in the gas tank next time you fill up.... That might solve the problem...
