Check back in that thread thursday or friday. Ill be posting up dyno #s and a DIY for the install. I know since I dont have numbers, you guys wont exactly take my word for it, but the manifold definately adds power. It was probably just as noticeable as when I had put the headers on.

Sorry for the thread jack.

Yea, at first I was positive is was the IAC valve, then I thought it was a vacuum leak. I tore everything apart today to inspect and no issues. I put everything back together with new gaskets. I cleaned the IAC valve out alittle bit better, and the idle settled down a bit. I went for a drive, and once I got into the driveway the idle jumped back up to 1200rpms. So Ill be replacing the IAC. Hopefully I can get that in before the dyno run thursday, if not Ill have to reschedule again.

I cant wait to tackle my exhaust system. Im ordering the new RT cat tomorrow, and running 2.5" piping to a magnaflow resonator and then into my CT axlebacks. Im also going to replace the flex pipe on the XS headers unless I can get my hands on these CT headers Ive been eyeing.

p2r plenums look more badass in my opinion and they net you lots of tq too... I like the proven gains with the plenums and how the pwr band is shifted downward for more tourqy daily driving.

I hate haveing to press the pedal down much, it's too much work

after 15,000 miles its still in good shape. i just took my option pulley off to put a UR stock size pulley on to install my blower. i refused to pay all that money for a UR under drive pulley that did the same thing. in the first pic thats just the residue from a sticker that was on it when i bought it.

yes i'm going to do the plenum myself... I may just take off the whole manifold to save me from all the crammed spaces i'll have to deal with. But either way.... I've done harder tasks.

Why, is there something I should know about?

So youre telling me that you would rather buy the plenums because they look "more badass"?

I don't feel like putting another car's parts on my car... I did that with my previous car and it was always screwed up, not saying it won't get me more hp but I'm not looking for every single hp.. I just want it to be much better than it was. Which is why i'm going with the p2r's. I'm only spending 400 CAD shipped for the plenums and i got the tb spacer and gaskets for 100CAD. So 500.. and I know i won't run into problems and it's about the same $...

Canadian shyt is more $ than for you guys. str8 up.

And remember there still isn't even a dyno done on this mod, it's all speculation as to howmuch/if it's better... and even so, may it'll have more hp and less tq. Mine is a DD so hp isn't my only goal.

lol you wanna nag on me? nag on the ppl buying unorthodox pulleys for 10 times the optionR one.

It's apples and oranges... I live in canada too and we get cold winters.. so maybe it'll throw off my idle or the car won't warm up as fast or ... who the heck knows.... I'm not going to be the ginea pig (no offence). I just want it better than b4 will no regrets or hickups

Ya i'm just waiting on the dyno #s. P2R said the gains are more than the TB spacer and plenums, but we'll see. You're getting a good mod either way with your plenums...and looks like you got a good deal on it too. Stuff up in Canada is way more expensive...it sucks! I have a good quote from an acura dealer on the TL manifold, just waiting for those dyno #s.
Oh, i also have my option pulley ready to install, and i'm getting a 2.5" exhaust done next week!

You're in Sauga right? That's where i work.
The 09 manifold was $360 without tax.
From P2R i'll need, Adapter: $80; Manifold thermo Gasket: $35; 09 Throttle body gasket: $23; CL-S TB Gasket: $23. Also i'm going to get an oil catch can, plus shipping on the P2R stuff...i'm probably looking at $600ish. Then i could sell my stock manifold and get some back.

You must have weak ankles

$360 canadian right? Not bad, considering I got my manifold and top cover for $350USD.

^Ya CAD. Not a bad deal. Might pull the trigger soon...i'll need your DIY to get this done though. I'm handy and i think i should be able to pull this off myself, but i'd need the instructions. Good luck with your idle issue!
