Lost to a modded Eclipse GS-T from a 90-120 roll

I saw this Eclipse GS-T driving fast on the highway so I catch up to him. I see that he has a gauge pod and can easily tell that he is modded. I get next to him but he won't slow down to 80 so we go from 90 instead. I'm stuck in 4th so I know I'm going to lose but what the hell. We both get on it and to my suprise he didn't pull away we stayed even until about 115 when his turbo finally got full boost and he started to pull. He took about a 1 1/2 to 2 car lead until I quit at around 125 and he kept going probably until 140 or so. I take the next exit and head home feeling a bit humbled. I might have been able to catch him because I was getting back into VTEC, but hey a loss is a loss...

Those Eclipses with the turbo (T and X) are fast as heck even without mods. I was handed my @ss several times back when I had my Prelude by stock turbo Eclipses. Never know what that guy you raced had for mods too...

nice killed.

Most likely the eclipse had the T3/T4 turbo upgrade or possibly the T28.....with upgrades those cars can be deceivingly quick, especially the GSX model which is all wheel drive.....ive seen a 95 GSX run mid 11's.....nice run though...

Yea those things are pretty damn quick. I raced one from 50mph to 120mph....we were about even the whole time until I hit 100, then he started to pull on me, and had me by about 2 cars by the time we shut down at 120mph. Good run though man!

No they are not........stock they are about as fast as a RSX-S or a CL-S because the car is so heavy in proportion to what they have in terms of power. Lots of potential but they aren't real fast from the factory.

3200lbs
Horsepower: 210 hp
Max Horsepower: 6000 rpm
Torque: 214 ft-lbs.

A stock GS-T is no problem I beat one when I was stock. This guy was modded with exhaust and a boost controller. Hell he might have been full BPU but running low boost when he raced me.

I don't think gst's way anything near 3200 lbs.
