nah, i'm getting one of those little Shark II steam cleaners. Figured it'd be nice to be able to use it on my wheels and engine bay too

They sell inverters that are small enough to fit into a tube to plug in to the cigarette lighter that have a 120volt outlet on the end...instead of a big, bulky inverter like the one shown up top.

CLpower, the deal is at Sams Club. I picked up a 400watt continuous (800 peak, but nevermind that number) for $26.99! It's waaaay cheaper than anywhere else, and it's a nice fan cooled unit. It does make noise tho, but since mine is going to be mounted in the trunk I could care less. Costco should have a similar unit too.
Whatcha gonna plug up to it?
Quick side note: these units provide a modified sine wave output, and will read almost 30 volts less on a regular volt meter. You need a true RMS meter to read the correct voltage. I had a friend that took one back and got another twice b/c he thought they were defective.
