Looking For A Old Friend!
looking for cl type s from conn. !!!!! are you out there! few years ago i was rolling up 95 n going bmore see some girl, im chill rollen my green listing to some go go when this type s rolls up and looks at me, now we all know stock 2.2 no match, but i been running for over 20yrs in diffrent cars so i decided to roll with him because im the better driver, and more power is only good if you got the open rd to use it.! so i put my j out and here we go! sence he had the lead we duct in and out doing 80-90 but this is were the men sep. from the boys a open came up on the right side he jump on it i got caught but hes 2 cars up jamed in i get my brake i drop it in 3 and dip to the right and im on his ass about 100 we rollen side by side then i see a small opening to small but timming is everything i slow to 80 he pulls not seeing the opening i coast for a sec. drop t o 3 and shoot pass him dip hard to my right and squeeze by to cars with a rats ass hair all i hear is nothing no music witch was blasting as i look back for i see him comming hard but i still have a good 4 cars now traffic is picking up as hes closing i pass 2 cars diong 125 then the last one i was doing 135 the only sound i heard as i look to my left i a saw the expression on this kids face it was like time stop for a split sec. it was like looking at some one at the light. then i was gone like that. as i return to the zone i see him comming hard and theres noway to hold him off and we been racing to long so i back off and dip on 695 in case the man was waiting up ahead i know someone had to call it in. so we parted he hi beam me and i brake light him back. this is my goal to find this guy and run agin im quit sure he is no longer stock
or done some work as i have. i must admit that was a dumb ass stunt,but if you ever been in the zone when time stops you will understand, but some ask why race a car that you know your out powered by? a true driver understands there are many things that can happen during a street race and if not on top of your game some one will get hurt, our cl are very quick cars from 90-120 but because our cars are so heavy stop light to stop light is a watse unless u have 260 -300 to the wheels sure we can dust alot 4 bangers even some with mods, but if you want to get some one goat burn them on the hwy. most get scared after 100 and
if you have a stick our power band is pretty good i ran 3rd till 105 then hit 4th we can chill at 120 125 and still have power so with some mods and bottle you can do a little something, but thats not enough for evo's wrx's and other turbo cars, so if your not ready to spend 7-10000 grand on your car then whats the point! with out the bottle and just mods our car wont even break 160 on the dyno. and to be honest 1500 for what? i roll hard and if i pull on someone or they pull on me they wont forget it! people ask how much have i drop so far, i tell them lost count and dont care! there no real price on speed!its just when you want to look pretty is when you know what you drop. so if your serious about being fast or just looking good just remember what you want your goals to be. fast or pretty ! and how deep your pockets go! good luck to all and come june Dagreen will be back on the

I drove through CT in August of 2002 and 2003, I had some guy in a Volvo S40 try to keep up with me going 120mph through hartford, on straights he'd catch up, but slow down too much on turns.
