Looking to buy a CL-S Need Help.
Gonna get one for my Lady. (Around labor day weekend) She wants black int. I want to get Navi. and a Type-S version
Besides the tranny, any other problems I should look for w/ the CL-S? I have 26K to spend out the door.. Does acura still cover the CL-S under warranty If I dont buy it from them? Is there a milage limit?
Thanks in advance..

All Acuras come with 4yr/50k warranty for whoever owns the car. The automatic CLS got a 100k added warranty because of tranny problems. Some brake rotor wear issues and the automatic tranny are the main issues. I prefer the 6 speed manual version offered only in 03 model. navi was the only option until the 03 6 speed option. Black interior was offered on every CLS.
Do you drive a Legend? I had 2 Legend coupes (88 and 95) before the CLS.

Yeah I have a 95 Coupe w/ a few mods..
The car needs to be auto because it for my girlfriend.. It's either the CL-S maybe a TL-S, GS300 or a SC400 (2000)..

Good choice. You will love the navi. I recommend the CLS six speed manual tranny only for the reliability issues.
So she is a girl...Does that mean a stick is too complicated? Nah. Just explain to her that a clutch works exactly opposite from the brake pedal. Push on brake pedal, brakes work. Push on clutch pedal, transmission doesn't work, so, time to change gears. Worked for all my girlfriends.
I am a Certified Flight Instructor, and when we get a new student, male or female, we usually ask them before they spend a dime is if they can drive a stick. If they can, fine, if they can't, Oh oh, uphill battle.
If your girlfriend cannot or will not even try to drive a stick, please don't take offense, but she might be dumb as a post.
Depending on your girlfriend, that may be a curse or a blessing. Chicks that can drive a stick are very cool in my book.
