I am looking to buy a CL Type S 6 Spd (Aegaen Blue, Anthracite Metallic) in the next month or so and was just wondering what price anyone paid for the car. The couple of dealers that I have gone to so far would not give me a definite price but both just said under 30K.

A Boston Acura dealer e-mailed me a few weeks back with an in stock CL-S 6 6SP for 27,800 delivered. I had already purchased mine from another dealer. Go to edmunds.com and see what others are paying in your area.

 

Acura has a $1000 manufacturer to dealer rebate going on until 3/31/03... Subtract that from invoice and start there... you should be able to find a dealer to give it to you for that price. May take some haggling though.

Beelzebub what dealer(s) did ya check out on LI? Island Acura in Wantagh quoted me $30,238 + TTL for a 03' CL-S w/Navi three days ago.

If your not looking for Navi subtract 2k right away from that price and start there. If anyone else quotes you a higher price walk away. If you can get a lower price there's still always room for improvement.

Smithtown and Rally. Price with dest at this time $29, but when I go in I should be able to get them down lower.

Yeah on LI you should not be paying more than $28.2k on a CL Type S w/o Navi. It seems dealerships order a lot more CL's without Navi so a good deal should be no problem.

Don't forget to print out Honda's recent sales sheet and also make sure they take into account the $1k dollar dealer incentive they're getting.
