Looking for a 6speed CLS. Under $15K possible?

I am thinking to get a 6-speed CL-S.. but I can only come up to $15K.. do you think it is possible? I live in Phoenix, Arizona by the way.

Also, when do you guys replace the timing belt/water bump? 60K or later? Any major maintenance need to be done under 100K?

If I can't get the 6-speed, I might get the auto. How bad is the tranny problem? I feel very surprise because I thought Acura/Honda is very reliable before.

Thanks you all!

Good luck. The miles will be really high.

This is the cheapest I have seen one for and this was a while ago. I have no clue if he still has it.

There are tranny issues with some of the autos. Those e-bay ones are pretty good as far as price.

You will have a hard time finding an 03 for 15k, high miles/ or a salvaged title is what it will probably be. As for the trannies, Most of us have had 0 problems. I wouldn't worry about it.

a co-worker picked up a 6sp for 14.5k on ebay, its not perfect, but in pretty good shape. It have right around 50k miles on it and a clean title. You can tell that there was some repainting done, but nothing that looks bad. You just need to keep looking for something that pops up.

I have an '03 CL-S 6MT w/ NAVI; 31K mostly highway miles; black on black; never wrecked or damaged in any way; I've babied it and never run it hard. $22K...I know that's more than you want to spend, but it's a great car, no B.S. I'm in Fort Worth, TX.
