LOOK QUICK! - i need to decide which wheel
Well, after talking to wheelmax again, they said none of those wheels fit. So, i may get the
G-Racing KOBE 19'' Chrome (225/35/19 Nitto555 Tires):
or fuck it and get 18's since they are cheaper to replace, probably ride better and last longer.
Here are two 18's that they have in stock and fit my car. I can just get these now and fix my car that has been broken for a over a month:
Katana Inspire 18'' Chrome (235/40/18 Toyo Proxes T1S):
Katana Destiny 18'' Chrome (235/40/18 Toyo Proxes T1S):
Or i might just put new tires on my stock 17''s!
So everyone, what should i do?
here is the old thread:
i have to call the body shop this afternoon, should i get the:
ADR Sterling
or
ACE Allure
or
ACE Manta (HyperBlack)
all in 19''

ACE Allure!!! I like the stock rims on my '03 cls 6sp. These ACE Allure rims look very similar, but sportier and more refined. I think you may have helped me finally decide on my next rims when I do the brembo upgrade. thanks...

I would go w/ the Allures for sure.....HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!I was going to buy them til I found out that THEY DON'T FIT. At least in 18"...not sure about 19". Also the Sterlings don't fit either in 18"...again not sure about 19". Which ever rims you get....do your homework and make sure they will fit w/ the correct offset and won't rub. Good luck.

That second wheel looks MIGHTY CLOSE to the wheel provided as OEM equipment on the 99 3.2 TL. I don't know if I would go there, although it is the wheel that appealed to me. That is, before I recognized the resembelance. Whatever.

I like the Sterlings - but too bad the offset is too low and comes only in 8.5". Here's the spec's...
18x8.5 with +38 offset
19x8.5 with +38 offset
You'll rub for sure.

Allure's in 18" are 18x8.0" w/ a 43mm offset. I called Ace a while back and they said that they would fit perfectly w/ no rubbing even if the car is dropped....so I was like cool...then called a local rim shop to order them and the guy is like NO.....they won't fit...they will stick out too far and rub on turns. I told him that I spoke to Ace themselves and he said....they make rims.,...I install them!!!!!. I never found out the specs on the 19" wheels....Go w/ the Manta's....that is probably the only wheel I really regret not getting instead of my Konig's

Hey, I have 3 Giovanna Kobes that were on my car. They are in very good shape. One of them broke so I bought a different set of wheels. So if you want to buy mine and just buy one more from the store I can give you a nice deal. PM me if you are interested. But mine have center caps, they look different than the one in your pic, you can't see the lugs on mine I can take pics let me know.
