my passenger side door lock does not move , but still locks and unlocks..and doesn't fuction like the drivers side....is it me or does anyone else have this problem? and it should be a dealer fix right?

 

I just went to the garage and tested mine, they both move up and down when I hit the lock unlock button. Take it in and have them look at it. I would not want to have a 50/50 chance of it not working, I want to know my car is locked 100%.

 

no its not the lock, its the tab that you push up and down to lock the car. it doesnt move at all when trying to lock the car.

the car always locks, its the wannbe chrome lock tab that i am refering to.

 

Either the lock rod that actuates it is jammed or the latch/motor assembly is defective either way the dealer ought to have a look at this .
