I just called Sterling McCall Acura in Houston to have some rattles looked into as well as a tire rotation and balance and an oil change.

The service advisor told me that he can't give me a loaner car until he knows the work will take more than two hours to FIX, not diagnose. So I need to drive around with someone in the car and hope all the rattles occur that I mentioned to them so they can decide if it will take two hours to fix or not.

Anyone else have this response when asking for a loaner car? Even Sterling McCall used to give me a loaner whenever I asked for one.

My car is in the shop right now for a buzz coming from the stereo. Since the service hours are from 8-5 M-F which happens to be when I work also, I always have to drop it off the night before and drive my beater car. So instead of getting a loaner if it takes more than an hour(which is my dealers policy), I get a loaner if it takes more than a day

No actually its there all the time and gets real bad when the heat is on and it gets louder as the revs go up. Naturally I thought this was alternator noise affecting the bose amp. I called the dealer today and they said they duplicated the problem but they are waiting to hear back from acura as to what they should do about it So im supposed to go after work and pick up a loaner

They gave me an 03 accord 4 banger. I said why not the EX V6 sitting there. The guys like your only 22. WTF I am the sole owner of my 03 CLS 6spd which cost alot more than that accord.
