so im heading down rte 83 today at lunch to go get food from the patio. im just crusin listening to music and i see this newer lincoln ls flying up at me, so i turn the radio down (habit) and see if hes gonna fly by or what. well he sure does. i see him at the light. im the first in my row, hes the 2nd in his row. i hear him reving his engine like crazy. then he stops. the light turns green and i just coast off the line and drive off normal.

the person in front of him makes a right turn in the gas station and then i just see him fly by me. so i switch to SS mode and catch up to him. rte 83 doesnt have lights that are crammed one after the other so we had a little space to run it. so we are even going about 45, im in 4th gear, he looks over with a smile and i dropped it into 2nd and took off and a milisecond later i see him too.

i had him the whole way up until maybe a block from the next light, for stopping distance with our wonderful oem brakes. i would say we both launch at similar times and last a good 200 yrds, prob more.

i know it had a v8 in it, i dont know if it was cause he sucked at driving or i just had to jump, but he didnt pass at all.

just thought i would spill the fun i had today at lunch.;
