Thumbs up LIPPSTUH's Summer 2007 Project [Phase 1]

I started this project on my own with a vision. One thing is that i finished half of it only, the other half will be done this fall hopefully if my work load permits.

Anyways, it's okay. I split this into two projects. I'll try to finish "phase 1" before September 23rd.

Anyways here's the teaser. Who will guess correctly!?

are you trying to widen your cupholder? you KNOW what I'm talking about-half the bottles of water I buy don't fit in the cupholders, especially the smaller one.

my guess is something having to do with the center console since you were thinking about painting that and the cupholder area, right?

here.... i still need to primer and paint it... darker than oem black or silver?

oh and by the way... that's a kicker sxrc amp remote... not a head unit. i will be painting this also, but not molding it flush to the whole thing since it gives me the option to sell it later and put something else in there.

and where the hell is the head unit?

That amp remote is huge. If it were me, I'd hide that thing out of sight.

x2

Looks like its just that stock navi bezel w/o the navi screen and replaced with the pioneer double din.

did you originally have stock navi and swap the ac controls with a non-navi car when making you own center console thing? or did you swap bezels with a car with navi and then wire in your double din?

either way when it's finished it should look pretty nice.

im painting it flat black. 2 coats of primer, then probably 3 coats of paint.

i was non navi, now it is navi =P, the amp controller is not a single din, i could have stuck a single din in there but nah. this way im going to create something to hide my navi while normal people would think i have some shitty ass single din radio. the sxrc is actually very shallow, i was going to mold it in but i wont so i can sell it later on and/or put something else there.

i had too much room so i had to put something.

and the navi bezel was modified... cut out the hole a bit larger, i will be bondoing it next, i hope i finish before school starts.

Why on earth do you need the amp remote mounted right front and center? Do you honest need to adjust it that frequently?

Props if you enjoy it but it seems a little silly and out of place to me.

Looks like you still need to get the hazard lights switch mounted too.

its a digital amp controler, meaning i can tune it through that remote

it displays information for all my amps. it can control multiple amps, please research it if you want to know why. it's not just a simple bass gain knob. plus its a luxury, don't need it... but you still want to have it....

im going all out on my car, and i have a custom 3 subwoofer set up so my car is already going in that direction

for regular people YEAH it's not needed, but i'm not a regular person. this is to promote my car stereo company.

and yes i agree it looks out of place... meaning not oem that's why i didn't make it flush with the whole unit.
