lightweight flywheel?

According to comptech's website most of the loss in the automatic CL-S is due to the flywheel. It says close to 12-14%. I don't know how our transmission would do with a lightweight flywheel. would it even be possible to make one that works? I've never heard of one for an automatic in general. Someone enlighten me about this.

Do you have a link to that? the only thing i could find is "Flywheel HP approx 12-13% higher due to loss of HP through drivetrain." Flywheel HP vs Wheel HP.

my bad...

yeah what you found was right. It was really late when I posted and I must have read it wrong when I was halfway asleep. I still don't see how a lightweight flywheel would hurt though. I think it would really help getting more power to the ground. I believe they even have LW flywheels for 1st gen CLs through unorthodox racing. I'm curious if this would be a good inexpensive but labor intensive mod to look into. Does anybody know of anyone who could make custom flywheels if you send a stock one in?

Just to make sure... you have a 6-speed, right? Autos don't have flywheels...
