Light Survey

I was just wondering what kinda light bulbs people are using for the roadlamps. Seems like alot of people are using the polarg m-6s or the piaa 19172s. I was wondering if people have tried other brands and how they match up to the HIDs. Or does polarg and piaa just blow away the competition?

go to http://www.picturetrail.com/mrdeeno/album1
and click on the driving lamp picture.

i don't remember what bulbs i tested, but it was last year, so i think there were piaas 19696 (or something like that), yellow bulbs, amber bulbs, 16 watt bulbs, and 18w=36watt hyperwhite bulbs.

it's a little more accurate than most other pictures i've seen taken, 'cuz i covered up the headlights so the headlights don't blind the camera.

i should update it with newer bulbs, but simply, i don't feel like it (and i haven't seen my car in 2 months and probably won't for another 3 months).

i got the PIAA 19224's, and they look fantastic...slight shade of blue as opposed to a slight shade of purple for the Xenons. the wattage makes them incredibly bright. very noticeable difference when driving at night.
