Lids

I was wondering what people have installed in place of the lid right next to the Illumination Controller on the dashboard (highlighted in pic below - *not my car*). I installed a fog light switch assembly from a '03 TL in place of my upper lid right next to my Sunroof switch and TCS & Cruise switch on my '01 CL. I do not like that my fog lights turn on automatically when I turn my headlights on. Thus, I am separating them from one another so I can have either one on instead of always having both on.

For example, in the picture below this guy installed a Sub Level Controller in place of the lid.

I plan on installing a blue LED round rocker switch in my lower lid for my Advanced Automotive Concepts blue Oracle Halo Kit.

So what have you guys installed in place of your lids?

Are the pics not working or is it just my computer at this hour?

It's weird...sometimes pics don't show up...but later they do.

Don't know if that's the case here.

I want to find some touch sensitive switches and install them under the sliding portion of the armrest. Most likely one for the underglow when its installed, one for interior lights and one for the amp remote wire so I can instant off in case of a police officer.

The Idea of discreet switches is cool, and if i can find some ocuh ones that light up when pressed...even cooler.

Heres a link to a better picture....it kind of seems a little bulky and the touch area looks really small, and I dont like how the wire comes out the side. I would only settle for these if they cost 5 dollars a piece.

If you take a look at where the wire goes in, you can tell its at least a centimeter thick which is way more than I expected.

On the other hand I looked more into plasmaglow and found that their underbody kit comes with an LCD touch controller that you mount in the cabin...... very cool, I may have a new use for the sunglass holder ... when i can afford it.

Thanks. It was a pretty easy install, just tedious. Why cant you just buy the LEDs from ebay or something?
