i want to take my dealer frames off and get some type-s frames. where can i purchase them, or does anyone have pics of theirs.

The word "Type" in black against the chrome never comes out very well in pictures when it's sunny. Got them from Autostuff.com

 

I got mine from Ebay. I linked the page, but if you go in and just type 3.2 CL, you will find it. They are polished stainless steel. Very nice actually. I am very happy with it. He can do custom orders if you email him what you want it to say to. This one says CL but her can do Type-S if you want. He did for me. Just email the guy.

Thanks derelict i've been looking for a front plate like that.

 

No prob. Only bad thing I would have to mention is the front plate gets the hell beat out of it... and this particular one shows the wear quite easily:





I suppose you can touch it up with some paint periodically.

 

Hmmmm yeah your right it does seem to take a beating. I ordered it anyway so i'll see how it fares.

Sure does look nice however.

I got mine from EBay...

 

Click the link in my sig to my personal site and you can see my Type-S plates. After about a year all of the paint fell off (the black and red in the letters), so the plate is all silver now.

I bought a new frame from twochicks.com that I'll be putting on in the spring.
