lf: interior door handle w/ led illumination!
i have spent the last 3 hours searching the forum for this picture/thread! i am 100% positive that it originated from here, with someone doing an interior LED mod and decided to put a led in the door handle. it was a blue led, and in the thread the poster said that it was in such a position that you could not see it glare while driving !
nono, i know of the TL thread, but that is for the exterior... i'm looking specifically for the interior handle.. mainly to see how they mounted the LED.
really, there's no purpose except the 'wow' factor that you give to other people. and i suppose it gets dark sometimes?
i'm planning to do the LED overhaul, but with some ambient lighting (in the door handles, in the footwells front and rear), and eventually do something LED related to the headlights!
my inspiration is the new CTS with the light pipes and LED interior lighting.. if you ever get to see one, you'll understand.
